Regionda ilk dəfə Xəzər Universitetində həyata keçirilən layihə Project Implemented at Khazar University for the First Time in the Region

İyunun 9-dan iyulun 18-nə kimi Prinston Qlobal Seminarlar seriyası çərçivəsində regionda ilk dəfə olaraq Xəzər Universitetində keçiriləcək “Azərbaycan və müasir dünya: enerji tərəfdaşlığında Orta Şərq müsəlman ölkəsi” adlı təlim proqramının açılış mərasimi oldu. Mərasimdə seminara rəhbərlik edən professor Michael A. Reynolds, seminarda iştirak edəcək 15 Prinston və 3 Xəzər Universiteti tələbəsi ilə yanaşı, Xəzər Universitetinin Direktorlar və Qəyyumlar Şurasının sədri professor Hamlet İsaxanlı, Akademik işlər üzrə prorektor Məhəmməd Nuriyev, Xarici əlaqələr üzrə prorektor Fərda Əsədov, layihənin yerli koordinatoru Havvaxanım Qurbanova, fakültə dekanları və departament rəhbərləri də iştirak edirdilər.
Layihədə iştirak edən Prinston və “Xəzər” universitetlərinin tələbələri 40 gün ərzində Azərbaycanın tarixi və mədəniyyəti, müasir Azərbaycanın siyasi quruluşu və beynəlxalq əlaqələri, Azərbaycan dövlətinin enerji siyasəti, Cənubi Qafqaz regionunun inkişaf layihələri və regionda təhlükəsizlik məsələləri barədə mühazirələr dinləyəcəklər. The opening ceremony of the training program on “Islam, Empire, and Energy: Azerbaijan and the Modern World” was held. As part of the Princeton Global Seminars series, this program will be held on June 9 – July 18 at Khazar University for the first time in the region. Professor Michael A. Reynolds, who is leading the seminar; 15 students from Princeton University and 3 students from Khazar University who will attend the seminar; Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees of Khazar University; Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Farda Asadov, Vice President for International Relations; local coordinator of the project Havvakhanım Gurbanova; deans and heads of departments participated in the event.
For the duration of 40 days, Princeton and Khazar University students involved in the project will hear lectures about the history and culture of Azerbaijan, the political structure of contemporary Azerbaijan and international relations, the state’s energy policy, development projects in the South Caucasus and security issues in the region.
