[:en]On October 12, 2018, Khazar University organized 44th and 45th graduation ceremony at Opera studio of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli. Graduates and their parents as well as the University administration and staff, ambassadors and others participated at the ceremony.

The ceremony started with National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Hassan Niknafs, Rector, congratulated the students and wished them success in their career life and further education.

Bert Schoofs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Azerbaijan; Rodrigo Labardini, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Azerbaijan; Kamran Behbudov, the first graduate of the School of Law and Social Sciences and Head Instructor of ADA University, delivered speeches expressing their wishes to graduates.

Hassan Niknafs, Rector of the University and substitute Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Bert Schoofs and Rodrigo Labardini, ambassadors; Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-rector on Education; Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice-rector on Management and Student Affairs; Irada Khazlilova, Vice-rector on Research; Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economy and Management; Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education; Gasham Zeynalov,Head of the Department of Oil Engineering; Rasim Bayramli, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering; Nuru Safarov, Head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication; Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology; Ali Huseynli, Head of the Department of Math, and others presented the graduates with diplomas. On 44th and 45th graduation, 336 undergraduates and 70 graduates finished university.

Vice-rector Isakhan Isakhanli presented the graduates, who were active in the social life of the University, with certificates.

The graduates Seymur Baghirov and Naila Ibrahimli recited the anthem of the University and the graduates took the anthem. Then the graduates had memory photos taken.

At the end, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, gave important advice to the graduates.

In the course of the ceremony, slide-shows reflecting student life of previous graduates were demonstrated, moreover a concert program was presented by the Department of Music and Art.
