On January 31, 2024, Khazar University hosted a meeting with a delegation led by the non-resident ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Danny Annan.
The meeting was attended by the non-resident ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in the Republic of Azerbaijan Danny Annan, Honorary Consul of the Danish Consulate Arnoud Govaert, Consul General of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thierry Hoppe, founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, Dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business Ingilab Ahmadov, Fatima Valiyeva, head of the International Relations Department.
At the meeting, views were exchanged regarding the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be hosted by Azerbaijan in November this year, and in the direction of cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
Additionally, opinions were expressed about the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Denmark, enhancing of bilateral relations and the direction of partnership with educational institutions of the Kingdom of Denmark. In the meeting, information was also provided about Khazar University’s educational system, programs offered to students, and scholarships.
