On January 6, 2024, Khazar University organized a meeting where Azerbaijani statesmen and scientists engaged with a delegation from Demirören Media, encompassing Türkiye’s esteemed CNN Türk, Kanal D, “Hürriyet,” and “Milliyet” media organizations.
The gathering featured the presentation of a book entitled “Karabakh, We Have Reached You” produced by the Demirören group in Istanbul, and it was attended by notable figures, including the Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Assoc. Prof. Cahit Bagci and cultural adviser Prof. Dr. Muhittin Majid from the embassy.
Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University, and Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoghlu, head of the university’s History and Archaeology Department, were also present. Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli delivered an extensive speech emphasizing the book’s significance, the historical importance of liberating Karabakh, and the role of the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood in achieving this victory.
The event concluded with representatives from the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan and Demirören Media presenting books to the guests.
